In America, 1.9 million children between the ages of 3-17 have been diagnosed with depression. Depression is the cause of over two-thirds of the 30,000 reported suicides in the U.S. each year.

Just after the age of 18, Karisa Moore’s son, Jonathan, took his own life after a lifetime battle with unexplainable physical pain and depression. While there can be no deeper grief for a mother, Karisa shares their family’s story and gives tools to recognize depression and help those grieving after a suicide.
